  Company Profile
Founded in 1988 by two animators, Studio B Productions is an award-winning studio producing original children's shows, such as Being Ian, Yvon of the Yukon, Class of the Titans and Yakkity Yak. Alongside with various productions, the studio also gives back to the community! Receiving numerous awards year after year, Studio B is definitely an award winning animation studio!
 
  Profile
During my 8 months co-op term at Studio B, I felt like I've gained the most valuable experience in my life. I'm sure most of the co-op students at SFU will start off with a similar opening, but to be put in a position that deals with all aspects of HR was extremely invaluable. I took on the many projects of recruiting and selecting of artists as well as corporate staff. In addition, being a part of all the productions that were happening in the studio, I went along with the fast pace and was on my toes 100% of the time! All 200+ employees of the studio were amazing and super friendly! It was my pleasure to have known each and every single one of them by name!
 
  Reflection
Without this experience, I would of never really understood what Human Resources was all about. From recruiting to creating policies to event planning to benefit administration, etc etc, the list just goes on and on. Moreover, since I was young, I wanted to become an animator, but my parents thought it will be an unstable career, so I pursued in business. Who would of known I was able to fulfill both of my dreams at one time! If you like to be working in a casual but fast paced studio, this is the right place for you to work!
